PT. Baruna Raya Logistics Celebrates 47th Anniversary with Blood Drive and Thanksgiving Amid Pandemic

JAKARTA — The COVID-19 pandemic did not dampen the enthusiasm of PT. Baruna Raya Logistics employees as they celebrated the company’s 47th Anniversary on Friday, January 22, 2021.

While this year’s commemoration differed from previous years due to strict health and safety protocols, Commissioners, Directors, and staff gathered with joy and gratitude to mark nearly five decades of operational excellence in maritime logistics.

Humanitarian Action: Blood Donation with PMI

To kick off the celebrations and reinforce corporate social responsibility, PT. Baruna Raya Logistics partnered with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to organize a corporate Blood Donation Drive.

Beyond supporting national blood supplies during challenging times, the initiative promoted health awareness among staff, helping reduce cardiovascular risks and maintain optimal health.

Thanksgiving Gathering & Team Unity

The highlight of the anniversary was a Thanksgiving Ceremony (Tasyakuran) held at the Workshop area, serving as an expression of gratitude for 47 years of growth and resilience.

Employees joined in prayer and shared a communal meal, strengthening inter-departmental bonds and camaraderie across the company.
